Register online with CVENT.

The ACM FAccT 2021 will be held virtually from March 3, 2021—March 10, 2021. Registration for the ACM FAccT 2021 will give you access to the full live and asynchronous program. Registered participants will have access to the full technical program on zoom and virtual spaces such as Gather.

Registration Information

Originally, ACM FAccT 2021 was slated to take place in Toronto, Canada. However, due to the ongoing COVID-10 pandemic, ACM FAccT will be held fully online.

While this year's conference will not include the costs of hosting in physical space (food, space rental, etc), the costs of hosting in virtual space are not insignificant. These costs include building and maintaining an online platform for the conference, live streaming, hosting and software licensing fees, and hiring logistical and tech support staff to ensure the conference runs smoothly. Additionally, we are continuing and growing our programs to support equity and inclusion at the conference.

The FAccT conference organizers seek to foster an accessible and inclusive conference. We recognize that ACM FAccT 2021 attendees have differing abilities to pay, and have instituted a tiered pricing program to accommodate different financial needs.

In striving for a conference cost that is affordable for all, we also have deeply discounted rates available for those registering in countries designated by ACM as "economically developing." To receive the discount code for registration, please be sure to select your country during the CVENT registration process. If you have questions about price or eligibility, please email facctregistration@executivevents.com.

Attendee Support

As part of our diversity and inclusion efforts, FAccT 2021 is happy to provide grants meant to lower barriers of access to the conference. Grants available this year are:

  • Internet bandwidth grants: Intended to cover extra costs of internet access if your current internet bandwidth is a barrier to your participation in the conference.
  • Carer grants: Intended to cover extra costs for caring for dependents if your caretaker responsibilities are a barrier to your participation in the conference.

  • If you would like to apply to any (or both) of these grants, please submit this application form by Feburary 22. Please note that the grants will be provided in the form of reimbursement and will require you to provide receipts.
